Join us for an afternoon of talks, a screening, and a workshop exploring disability, authorship, and access. Contributors to Crip Authorship—a 2024 CHOICE Reviews Outstanding Academic Title—will share their work on how disability can shape the way we write, communicate, and create. Highlights include a screening with Louise Hickman, a plain language writing workshop led by Kelsie Acton, and a keynote lecture by Georgina Kleege. The event will begin with a book signing and introduction by the editors, Mara Mills and Rebecca Sanchez.
Please note that space for the workshop component is limited; only request an in-person ticket if you are certain you can attend. Alternatively, you are welcome to join the event online via hybrid access.
